Akar Mobility Services founders have been in the disability industry for over 16 years (we have carer/nursing background). We have seen how limited access to transport can impact on people’s lives and every day ability to access the community and we have experienced this personally.

Our aim is to provide a personalized and unique service to our clients.

Our current accessible hire vehicles are Chrysler Voyagers or KIA Carnivals allowing for our clients to travel in comfort and ease of accessing parking.

With the rising costs of taxi and the limited availability our service mission is to provide hassle free arrangements for people requiring wheelchair accessible vehicles.

  Attending events or functions with out attending to a deadline of a taxi service or being left to wait for unexpected delays.
• Our driver service offers a unique service to a wheelchair accessible van.
  
  We provide a pick up- waiting– drop off service to meet an individual’s requirements. This can include Weddings, Debutante Balls, Funerals (mourning Car) service etc.
  
  We work with our clients to achieve the best access and best possible outcomes desired for our clients.

• • Chrysler Voyager
  
  The Chrysler voyager is a side access vehicles that allows the client choices in their seating arrangement.
  
  This enables our clients to sit in two locations in this vehicle, either front passenger or mid rear position.
  
  
  • KIA Carnival
  
  The KIA carnival’s entry is via the rear of the vehicle.
  This allows for seating in the middle of the vehicle, with friends/family/carers on either side and a fold down seat accommodates two other passengers.
  
  Equating to 8 people including wheelchair. There is plenty of room for equipment/luggage.
